Welcome to Mr. Cooney's Algebra 61 course!!

This is Algebra 67.

In this course students continue their study of equations, inequalities, polynomials, ans systems of equations.  They begin their study of polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions as well as conic sections.

Topics in this course include applications in graphing, system of equations, solving quadratic equations, and work with radicals.  Completion of Algebra 60, 61, 62, 63 is equivalent to the college preparatory courses Algebra 70 and 71.

Algebra 62 focuses on real number properties, solutions to equations and inequalites, graphing, and polynomials.  Completions of Algebra 60, 61, 62, 63 is equivalent to the college preparatory courses Algebra 70 and 71.

The course completes the topics in Geometry 64.

The content of this course includes the study of the properties of two and three dimensional figures of Euclidean geometry with minor emphasis on proofs.

This course provides instruction in order of operations, solving equations, solving inequalities, data analysis, and addresses graphing and probability.  Completion of Algebra 60, 61, 62, 63 is equivalent to the college preparatory courses Algebra 70 and 71.
